Arrange a valuation for your Fair Deal application
The HSE asks for a current market valuation of any house, land or other property in the financial assessment. It has to come from an auctioneer or valuer. Choose your county, pick a firm from the panel and send one request. They ring you back, agree their fee with you and arrange a visit. Sending a request is an enquiry, not a booking.
No panel firm in your county yet? Choose it anyway and leave your details; we will find a licensed auctioneer for you.
Ask to value the property
For auctioneers and valuers: join the panel
fairdeal.ie helps families through the Fair Deal (Nursing Homes Support Scheme) application. Many of them need a market valuation and do not know who to ask. The panel is a short list of PSRA-licensed firms, by county, that families choose from. There is no charge to join. When a family you were introduced to here has their valuation completed (carried out, and the report or certificate given to them), your firm pays fairdeal.ie €50 plus VAT, on one statement at the end of the month. Nothing is payable for an enquiry that goes nowhere, and the fee never depends on the figure you give. We do not promise a number of enquiries.
